More than 35 new games will be on show at GaMaYo on 21st November with 400 developers attending the event to try them out alongside publishers, investors and platform holders. The event is managed by Game Republic along with their Official Partners Red Kite Games, Barclays Games and Creative and Escape Technology

What would be your description of your game?

Happy-go-lucky Bailey the beagle, is on a heroic mission to try to save a local animal sanctuary, with help from furry (and not so furry) friends!

Wag those tails and bound and bounce your way through this whimsical adventure! But watch out for those nefarious types who may want to steal your success!

How did development start? Were there any key inspirations or ideas that drove you?

While out walking our dog, who loves to bound around through the bushes and woods, we thought it would be fun to strap a GoPro on him to see his wild adventures. That sparked an idea: wouldn’t it be amazing to play a game as a dog, exploring and having adventures? And thus, the concept for Walkies was born.

Tell us about the team behind the game?

The core team behind Walkies consists of Mark and Helen, with contributions from other talented individuals along the way. Together, they bring over 25 years of game development experience to the table. Mark, our expert Unreal Programmer, has worked on a diverse range of projects, from AAA titles to indie games and everything in between. Helen is our versatile producer and artist, passionately overseeing production while crafting the stunning artwork you see in the game. Their combined skills and dedication drive the vision of Walkies.
