Soapbox Unleashed

What would be your description of your game?

Soapbox Unleashed is a racing game where the player has to use the momentum of the vehicle to get from A to B. Soapbox’s have no power so its all about carrying your speed. Currently the game has 30 tracks, which include jumps, looks, banked corners, draw bridges and more.

How did development start? Were there any key inspirations or ideas that drove you?)

Always been a fan of the Trackmania games. Not so long ago I was playing Phantom Spark (Similar type game), and that kind of got the ball rolling. It was hard to know which game to bring to demo. I currently have 14 games on the go. But this one is more generic and hopefully more appealing to the general player as a few of the others are very specific.

Tell us about the team behind the game?

Just myself, I’ve been an independent developer since 2015, released over 30 mobile games and then swapped in 2018 to Xbox. I currently have 16 games on the Xbox store.

What kind of experiences do you hope to bring players?

The urge to want to try again and beat that time or even to get to the finish. I sit here often just trying to beat times in other games so that’s what I’m trying to recreate. I also play a lot of games in hot seat mode which brings local friends together.

In 10 words or less, highlight the appeal of the game?

Do you have what it takes to get the gold medals or even get to the finish?
