What would be your description of your game?

Graviton is a first-person environmental puzzle game that challenges players to navigate shifting gravity fields, odd perspectives, and unusual physics. Set in a strange and decaying world, the game blends unique, physics-oriented mechanics with atmospheric storytelling. Drawing inspiration from the techno-utopian dreams and abstract 3D art of the 1990s and early 2000s, Graviton takes players on a subversive journey through space and time.

How did development start? (Were there any key inspirations or ideas that drove you?)

Project Graviton began as an exploration of game mechanics for a puzzle themed Game Jam – what about a game where you can walk on walls and slow down time? Inspired by other 1st person puzzle games like Portal, Superliminal and Superhot as well as Sci-Fi Epics such as Interstellar and Inception, we continued to push the boundaries of our time and space manipulation mechanics post-jam, which we refined into the current iteration of Graviton.

Tell us about the team behind the game!

Lunaboot Studios is a team comprised of diverse, determined game devs brought together by a passion for puzzle games including 6 IG50 Winners, 2 Postgraduate degree holders, 2 former Infinity27 Developers and a BAFTA YGD nominee.

What kind of experiences do you hope to bring players?

As a team brought together by a passion for puzzles, our hope is that players can experience mind-bending, bewildering conundrums in Graviton which challenge them to manipulate reality to progress.
