More than 45 new games will be on show at GaMaYo on 21st November with 400 developers attending the event to try them out alongside publishers, investors and platform holders. Cellular City
What would be your description of your game?
A light isometric city builder puzzle game inspired by the buildings of Sheffield about the tensions which exist in the cities we live in.
How did development start? Were there any key inspirations or ideas that drove you?
The key inspiration for the game is Sheffield, a city I’ve lived in for 15 years. Development started in January 2024, with the creation of a tile set inspired by the buildings I saw on my commute through the city.

A solo-indie project from a developer with a background in games academia and research.
What kind of experiences do you hope to bring players?
Chill and thought-provoking.
