GaMaYo members were in attendance at the GamesIndustry.biz Investment Summit and EGX events at the NEC in Birmingham from Thursday 21st September to Sunday 24th September. Games developers such as Team17, Laser Dog Games, Ocean Spark, SigTrap, Shuttershade Studios, Fierce Kaiju and Red Kite Games were demonstrating games to EGX attendees, meeting publishers and platform-holders, delivering talks at Rezzed sessions and checking out other developers’ titles.
It was fantastic to see such a range of amazing games and companies from our region at EGX – the photo below is of This Dead Winter from Nocturnals, which was one of the showcase games at our GaMaYo event back in April. You’ll be able to see many more new games from Yorkshire and the North at the GaMaYo event in Leeds on 16th November.
