Teensy Tiny Tankery by Neptuna Ltd

What would be your description of your game?

Teensy Tiny Tankery is a PvP arcade shooter for PC, MacOS and Mobile. Fight head-to-head in teams with a roster of valuable powerups, or duke it out against 15 other hunters in a brand new game mode!

How did development start? (Were there any key inspirations or ideas that drove you?)

We started development at the Game Republic Graduate Skills Bootcamp (2024-2025). Together, we developed the technical alpha in 16 working hours, building the core in ROBLOX. The key influences for our art style were Wii Tanks (Wii), Seek and Destroy (PS2), and Toy Commander (Dreamcast). World of Tanks (PC/Console), World of Tanks Blitz (PC/Mobile), and War Thunder (PC) inspired the gameplay’s concepts. Since the last GaMaYo we’ve been extremely busy making lots of changes:

Massive Rewrite – Back and better than ever before, all our tanks and systems have been inspected carefully to ensure they’re ready for the battlefield no matter the device or network! Whether you punch holes through enemy armour or paint your tank pink, we’ve rebuilt our game to ensure that not a byte of memory, nor watt of energy, goes to waste.
New Progression System – Couldn’t find that heavy-hitting Armor forged just for you? Our new progression system makes searching for iconic (and sometimes fantasy) vehicles far easier. Search by nation and by tech tree!
New Customization Screen – An overhauled Customization screen lets you find specific tanks with a filtering system and find desired colours easily.
New Garage – After every battle, and even mid-battle, you need a place for your crew to relax and repair damage. Players can now spend time exploring, customizing and tweaking everything from within a new 3D Garage, or just look at the pretty tank models!
The Cavalry’s Here – New tanks come to the game, and some old models get love and care with new armor plating!
UK Tech Tree – Cheers to the Cromwell, Comet, Charioteer, Chieftain and Challenger II! Sent all the way from the white cliffs of dover with love.
Reinforcements – The Panzer IV H, T-34-85 (Berlin), T-34-76 and T-34-85 also make their debut on the battlefield!
Model Reworks – New models have been designed for the Panzer IV, Churchill IV (now VII), M18, M26 and M103! These classics from our Alpha and Beta now get time to shine!
Show them the true power of Tankery! – Our first ever event will bring five special Japanese variants of the Panzer IV, Churchill VII, T-34s and M26! These tanks will make a limited-time debut every year alongside a growing roster for completely free, starting at GaMaYo, to celebrate Japan’s achievements in the pursuit of Tank Preservation!
Exclusive GaMaYo Code – A new, exclusive GaMaYo code will be handed out for the M26 (Alpha) and M26 (Beta) tanks from our past events! This will include some in-game currency and a unique title. *Disclaimer: Images shown for build may differ to those shown at event due to updates and reworks*

Tell us about the team behind the game!

Neptuna consists of five total members behind our Technical Alpha:

Sam Rowett, our Game Designer, created the original prototype that became the game’s foundation. From the project’s start, his ideas and direction have empowered us to design the game’s core various times to capture a vision unique to the ROBLOX platform.

Nicholas Thursby, our 3D, joined to develop his modelling skills. Many of the environment assets created during the Technical Alpha were made by him. He is currently hard at work bringing to life the many tank models that players will be able to customise.

Hugh Vincent, our composer, lead the sound design. He also aided greatly with the Technical Alpha’s documentation and designed our prototype tank.  As we enter Beta, he continues to produce music and sound effects for the game, as well as additional 3D assets.

Rory Simpson, one of our 3D artists for the Technical Alpha, joined during the Technical Alpha. Contributing several environment assets, he helped to shape the game’s theme and concept.  These early visions have contributed greatly to our new art style.

May Gilbertson, our Programmer, has over 10 years of experience with the ROBLOX platform. She brought the team’s many assets and concepts into the engine and built many of the game’s systems. Her insights have massively helped to drive new updates, content and patches.

What kind of experiences do you hope to bring players?

We hope to bring players a stand-out wave-survival challenge with a wide variety of enemy types, stage hazards and power-ups. We also look forward to seeing how players personalise tanks with a plethora of both toyetic and historical models, various components, and a diversity of colours. Our team has been hard at work concepting new maps, new gameplay mechanics and tank designs that we’re thrilled to bring to players and Attendees at GaMaYo!

In 10 words or less, highlight the appeal of the game!
