Nearly 600 game developers have now registered to attend GaMaYo from across The North, Scotland and around the UK to attend GaMaYo on 13th November at WX in Wakefield.  The event which is being sponsored by Plus AccountingHP and AMD with Escape Technology will include roundtables led by publishers, platform-holders, investment experts, legal and financial specialists to help game developers and studios at all stages of their business and game development from 5-6pm on the day. 

  • Epic will be sharing updates on what is happening and opportunities with UEFN and Unreal.
  • New game publisher Digital Bandidos will be sharing tips on publishing and promoting games drawn from decades of experience, hundreds of games published, and a lifelong passion for everything indie.
  • Xsolla will be sharing how to partner with Xsolla to increase your game’s visibility on YouTube, Twitch, and other platforms. Adam from Xsolla will be sharing how to utilise Xsolla’s Partner Network of over 200k creators to create a free Influencer Campaign to increase your visibility on platforms including YouTube and Twitch.   • Head of GameMaker Russell Kay will be sharing Porting Made Simple: GameMaker’s approach to shipping on consoles, web, and mobile.
  • Nick Parker, Parker Consulting, a former exec at Sony PlayStation, Nintendo and Atari will be sharing tips and tricks on how to run a studio as a business, balancing creativity with cashflow, how do strategic planning and business planning work together to maximise profits, the right execution of a release schedule.
  • Sam Crich at Eaton Smith Solicitors will be doing a roundtable on IP for the win: Tips from lawyers to help you stay ahead of the game.
  • Yogscast Games will be joining us to share updates on publishing for indie game developers.
  • Molly Holmes of Panda Cat Games will be joining a roundtable sharing tips on how to enhance social media presence specifically TikTok and Instagram.
