We want GaMaYo to be the friendliest, most welcoming games industry event on the planet, so we ask all members, their guests, and participants to follow these guidelines.
Behave Respectfully Towards Other Members
We encourage all participants to exercise consideration and respect in their speech and actions. We do not tolerate unacceptable behaviour towards other members, guests, sponsors or event staff in any form, including intimidating, harassing, abusive, discriminatory, derogatory or demeaning speech or actions by any participant.
Harassment includes: harmful or prejudicial verbal or written comments related to gender, sexual orientation, age, ability, appearance, ethnicity, national origin, citizenship, socioeconomic status, or religion; deliberate intimidation, stalking or following; harassing photography or recording; sustained disruption of talks or other events; inappropriate physical contact; and unwelcome sexual attention.
Drink Responsibly/ Zero Tolerance Of Drugs
Please drink responsibly – the use of alcohol will not be accepted as an excuse for unacceptable behaviour. Anyone found using illegal substances will be asked to leave the event.
You may take pictures and film at the event but if anyone, including the games exhibitors, asks you not to film them or their game, please listen and respect their wishes. We will film and photograph the event to use to promote the games industry and future events. If you do not wish to be filmed or photographed, please let photographers and videographers know.
If you are made to feel uncomfortable or you experience unacceptable behaviour at an event or in our online community, please contact a member of the GaMaYo team or email us afterwards.
We reserve the right to take action to stop any unacceptable behaviour which may include expulsion from the event and/or the online community. You may also be denied entry to future events.
Thank you for your participation in ensuring GaMaYo remains an inclusive and welcoming environment for all participants! We want everyone who comes to GaMaYo to have a fun, safe and enjoyable time. Have fun!
